You will be required to have the following: • A National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management • A relevant Postgraduate Degree will be advantageous Minimum four (4) years HR experience in a mining environment • At least two (2) experience in a similar role within a mining environment • Experience of working within Unionised environments within the Mining Industry preferable Computer literacy MS Office & SAP HR • Knowledge and understanding of the relevant acts (e.g. LRA; BCEA; EEA) • Ability to function independently and under pressure • Medical Certificate of Fitness As our HR Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Develop and monitor the implementation of the HR Operations policies and plans, provide input into the development and review of the HR Operations strategy • Provide effective professional advice and guidance to line managers and employees regarding the HR Operations legislative requirements, policies, practices and procedures • Establish functional standards for accurate HR record-keeping and administration • Monitor all Human Resources factors affecting production in order to enable business to produce the required outputs • Constantly review the Standard Operating Procedures for relevant areas of the Human Resources function • Identify opportunities to improve HR Operations systems and processes • Ensure effective manning of jobs and teams according to the business plan • Maintaining up-to-date information on people movement including promotions, transfers and terminations • Providing effective HR administration with accurate and timely information in line with established standards and processes • Review HR Operations deliverables and provide inputs into the development of the HR reports • Develop and monitor the implementation of the HR Operations policies and plans, provide input into the development and review of the HR Operations strategy • Provide effective professional advice and guidance to line managers and employees regarding the HR Operations legislative requirements, policies, practices and procedures • Establish functional standards for accurate HR record-keeping and administration • Monitor all Human Resources factors affecting production in order to enable business to produce the required outputs • Constantly review the Standard Operating Procedures for relevant areas of the Human Resources function • Identify opportunities to improve HR Operations systems and processes • Ensure effective manning of jobs and teams according to the business plan • Maintaining up-to-date information on people movement including promotions, transfers and terminations • Providing effective HR administration with accurate and timely information in line with established standards and processes • Review HR Operations deliverables and provide inputs into the development of the HR reports
