A minimum of a bachelors degree and five years experience with expertise in the following
Stay abreast of all labour legislation and evolving needs of the employer and its employees:- Recruitments/terminations/retrenchments/resignations/hearings/dismissals.
Handle labour disputes and remedy any issues an employee might have: Arbitration/conciliation/CCMA Disputes/Union negotiations
Excellent leadership, training, and developmental skills:-Workplace skills Analysis- bridge gaps where training and development is required, Workplace Skills plan/Application of mandatory grant and discretionary funding/liaising with the SETA and trainers.
Employment Equity - fulfilling company Equity Plan together with chairing the Equity Committee.
Expert in labour laws set by governing authorities and organizations: Department of Labour inspections and attending all meetings/conferences. Handling all enquiries
Ability to comprehend complex language, theories, and methodologies
Time management and organizational skills
Strong decision-making skills
Strong computer skills and experience with office management and communication
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
