Post matric qualification in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations
Duties
Responsible for every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff in addition to succession planning, staff welfare, industrial relations and supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Provide advice and support regarding industrial relations matters as well as coordinating disciplinary and grievance hearings.
Conduct training and development needs analysis.
Continuously review current human resource practices, policies, procedures and systems and recommend initiatives to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
Manage the Employment Equity programme by setting targets in accordance with legislation.
Prepare job specifications, developing, proof reading and posting ads directly and/or through approved recruitment agencies and managing the employment process from start all the way through to on boarding and induction.
