HR Manager - Cape Winelands - Wellington

Our client in the Boland is in need of a HR manager to join their team and take it to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection of Personnel:

Development of recruitment strategies.

Advertising job opportunities.

Screening CVs and conducting interviews.

Induction of new employees.

Employee Relations:

Development and implementation of HR policy and procedures.

Handling employee complaints and conflicts.

Conduct investigations when necessary.

Provide guidance and counseling to employees.

Performance Management:

Implementation of performance evaluation systems.

Conduct performance reviews.

Development of training and development plans.

Identifying and addressing performance problems.

Training and Development:

Identification of training needs in cooperation with BBBEE policy.

Organization and provision of training program.

Monitoring training effectiveness.

Supporting employees' career development.

Compensation and Benefits:

Design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.

Do salary surveys and comparisons.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Management of wage and salary administration.

Employee Engagement:

Development of employee engagement initiatives.

Organizing team building activities.

Conduct employee satisfaction surveys.

Implementation of strategies to improve workplace culture.

Compliance and Legal Matters:

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Keep abreast of changes in labor law legislation.

Handle legal matters related to HR (eg discrimination complaints, labor disputes).

Manage and maintain accurate HR record keeping.

Health and Safety:

Ensure that workplace safety regulations are followed.

Handling workers' compensation claims.

HR Strategy and Planning:

Development of HR strategies that are aligned with organizational goals.

Forecasting HR needs and planning workforce requirements.

Identifying areas for improvement of HR processes.

Contribution to organizational development initiatives.

HR Administration:

Management of HR databases and records.

Handling HR-related paperwork and documentation.

Management of employee files and records.

Manage Administration of benefits programs.

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in HR

A minimum of 10 years' experience

Solid written and verbal skills in English and Afrikaans
