Manufacturing company in Durban North is looking for a skilled and experienced HR Manager. Duties include but not limited to the following: Develop, implement, and manage the functional and strategic plan for labour deployment as per production requirements. Develop and implement plans that drive the organisation towards profitable growth and sustainable operation of the organisation through minimising impact of labour costs. Develop a skills development plan for all staff for the business. Ensure effective and equitable incentivisation within the company, so talent, skills and results are rewarded. Compile monthly management reports as required for HR and IR, along with H&S. Ensure that active performance management is practised effectively, understanding at an individual level the personal and professional aspirations of each staff member and ensuring those are relayed through a line and performance management system that is responsive. Develop, update, and implement all HR and IR policies and procedures. Manage the Payroll System and be responsible for approving and forwarding the payroll data to the Finance Department within the required timeframe. Manage the allocated labour budget with operations/production managers. Forecast annual labour expenses in line with budget from sales and operations/production. Minimum educational & experience requirements: Completed Degree HR /IR qualification. 10 years HR / IR management experience Must have above board communication and people skills Must be able to lead and manage a HR Team Must have strong personality, no-nonsense approach Knowledge of the BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA and other related Acts Experience in complex union negotiation Multi-union experience Formulation of long-term IR strategy Able to interact at all levels. Must have serviced HR compliment of /- 1000 employees Strong Knowledge CCMA Matters Very strong Human Resource Administration skills Please only apply if you meet the minimum requirements above.
