Professional qualification in Human Resources Development or Human Sciences at NQF level 7 7 Years HRD experience of which 4 years must have been in a managerial capacity. • Competent in HR systems and related legislation including WSP and ATR reporting. • Experience in a mechanised mining environment. • Display up-to-date, in depth knowledge of learning and development practices, policies, processes and systems. • Computer literate for the role. • Self-motivated individual with personal resilience, energy and drive. Technical industry qualification relevant to the role will be an advantage (Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency) Facilitate the development of competent employees through the identification, development, sourcing and delivery of training and developmental interventions, as well as performance and succession management, in order to meet the organisations strategic and operational objectives. • Analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training processes and resources ongoing to ensure best practice. • Responsible for the roll-out and management of all training and skills pro-grammes in the business. • Provide an effective learning and development function. • Evaluate training & development with regard to return on investment to the business. • Ensure effective stakeholder management internally and externally. • Design and manage training capacity (infrastructure, curriculum, re-sources) for mine training needs. • Implement a career management programme aimed at integrating individual aspirations and organisational needs & realities. • Ensure the consistent application of training and development policies or procedures.
