- Create, enforce, and oversee HSE protocols, procedures, and reporting across the organization. - Develop, revise, and maintain the Integrated Risk Management System and associated documentation. - Perform risk assessments for new sites prior to mobilization, collaborating with sales and operations teams to identify and mitigate risks. - Conduct routine audits of food units and compile detailed reports outlining any deviations and recommending corrective measures as needed. - Actively contribute to the enhancement of training materials. - Deliver on-site HSE training to unit, catering, and regional managers as necessary. - Collaborate closely with the Incident Management Controller to report and categorize incidents accurately. - Investigate incident classifications and ensure thorough closure of all incidents after rigorous investigation. - Support operations in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and propose policy adjustments based on incident findings. - Assist units in maintaining compliance with legal requirements such as the Certificate of Food Premise Acceptability (COFPA). - Stay informed about changes in legislation and communicate updates to the organization. - Serve as a liaison with relevant governmental bodies and regulatory agencies. - Maintain up-to-date electronic copies of pertinent laws and regulations. - Coordinate with local Environmental Health Practitioners (EHP), Department of Health officials, and fire department representatives. - Prepare, submit, and present reports, statistics, and trend analyses related to HSE performance. - Participate in regular meetings with regional managers to provide feedback on HSE compliance and improvement opportunities. - Properly plan and manage travel expenses in accordance with the HSE budget. - Adhere to the company's Business Code of Ethics and confidentiality rules. - Maintain professionalism in all communication channels and keep colleagues and units informed of relevant developments or changes affecting their daily responsibilities.
