Loading vehicles at the client site in Pietermaritzburg, ensuring pallets are loaded efficiently and safely. Receiving stock from the client in the receiving bay. Repalletizing stock and wrapping stock for despatch. Preparing and staging pallets for despatch in the despatch area. Working with the Regional Operations Manager KZN and Operations Supervisor PMB to organise the despatch floor. Ensuring the receiving and despatch bays are compliant and neat. Ensuring pallet stacks aren't overhanging or leaning, and if so, repalletizing stock. Assisting in general warehouse duties when required by the Regional Operations Manager KZN or Operations Supervisor PMB. The above-mentioned responsibilities and acaccountabilities are subject to change. Short listed candidates will be contacted with screening questions. JOB REQUIREMENTS Problem solving and intuitive thinking. Able to work in a team-environment. Able to work independently. Excellent communication skills. Administration and filing skills. Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. 1 year or more experience operating as a warehouse assistant required. Ability to lift and move heavy goods is required.
