- Determine client’s requirements for new designs.
- Determine client’s requirements for design improvements.
- Identify and report on global and local market trends.
- Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs.
- Assist team with creating physical prototypes of their designs.
- Assisting with the roll out of new product and designs to the factory floor.
- Setting up of display cabinets and display areas for customers to view new designs.
- Examine materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs.
- Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is Practical.
- Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval.
- Ensure all designs meet requirements set out in Standards such as ISO 23953, ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
