The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong technical background, and the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings and specifications for shopfitting, cabinet making, and furniture projects. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop conceptual designs and sketches based on client briefs and feedback. Create detailed technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and assembly diagrams using CAD software Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for each project, considering aesthetic, functional, and budgetary requirements. Work closely with production teams to communicate design intent and resolve any technical issues that arise during fabrication and installation. Continuously research industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to enhance design capabilities and stay competitive in the market.
