BRIEF SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To develop, maintain, improve and manage effective data and information systems in order to improve accuracy in information related tasks, streamline business processes and generate accurate and reliable data sources, in line with the directives of the company as set out by the BIIS department Key result areas will include: Develop systems that streamlines business functions and improves data accuracy . Develop information access and reporting tools. Employ testing mechanisms to ensure accuracy and efficacy prior to live implementation. Manage systems and data structures. Perform general maintenance on systems and information structures to ensure accuracy and efficacy. Employ advanced data manipulation techniques in order to process existing information Compile and submit management reports Deliver processed data in sensible format to end user and assist with further manipulation or reporting if required. Maintain and execute periodic reporting on large, defined data. Support relevant department role players to ensure that department systems are in place, secure, effective and up to date. Key qualifications / requirements Matric, with proven knowledge in BIIS: Data Processing Digital manipulation Data structures, incl Relational Databases Pattern recognition and problem-solving skills Statistical analysis and analytics 5-10 Years Industry related experience R13,000.00
