Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure to ensure its availability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to identify and address infrastructure needs and implement appropriate solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environment.Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the IT infrastructure, employing best practices and industry standards.Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and implement necessary optimizations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents.Perform regular maintenance, patching, and equipment upgrades.Maintain documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.Keep up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the IT infrastructure.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.Proficiency in Nutanix, HP networking, H3C, Fortigate, and Zscaler.Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including experience with security solutions (e.g., firewalls, IPS/IDS, antivirus).Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.BenefitsSalary negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing moveOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Chandre Cronje at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: itcareershireresolve.za.comWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
