Job Title: Instrument Technician - Mining IndustryLocation: MpumalangaJob Type: Full-timeJob Summary:Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems in our mining facilities. They will need to ensure that all instrumentation is functioning properly to support the safe and efficient operation of our mining equipment.Responsibilities:Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair Siemens, PLCs, VSDs, and SimcodesRepair and install Profibus and fibre networksTroubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and control systems.Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation to prevent breakdowns.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.Document all work performed and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth operation of mining equipment.Requirements:N6 Certificate in Instrumentation with a Trade Test Certificate OR a National Diploma in Electrical EngineeringBTech Degree in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining industry.Knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA systems, and other control systems used in mining operations.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.Benefits:Salary: R750K-R950KFamily Responsibility Leave (if Applicable)If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at mininghireresolve.za.comPlease note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
