Insurance Advisor - Durban

Personal Finance provides clients in the entry, middle, affluent and self-employed markets in South Africa with a comprehensive range of financial service solutions to facilitate their long term wealth creation, protection and niche financing needs.

Company is looking for experienced life and investment financial advisors to be based in its Kwa-Zulu Natal / Gauteng / Western Cape Offices.

Company offers the following:

  • Provision of office space and full infrastructure for financial advisors
  • Full suite of administration services, i.e. new business finalisation, client services and client retention mechanisms
  • Telephony services, i.e. internet, email, telephone, voice logging, secure storage of data, full suite of Microsoft access
  • Access to business coaching and client advice support
  • Assistance with practice management
  • Training support, i.e. technical and soft skills training
  • Access to an effective lead generation systems and training
  • Support with succession planning
  • Support with unlocking of equity from adviser practices

Output/Core Tasks:

  • Establish long-term relationships with clients
  • Financial planning for clients
  • Focus on identifying client needs and then offer suitable financial solutions
  • Provide excellent service orientation and frequent contact with clients

Requirements:

  1. Matric or NQF4 equivalent certification (Essential)
  2. Tertiary Certificate and or Degree (Essential)
  3. Financial qualification and or RE5 accredited (Beneficial)
  4. Drivers license with own vehicle (Essential)
  5. Sales Experience and Skills (Essential)
  6. 1 year financial industry experience (Beneficial)
  7. Latest 6 Months commissions statements (Beneficial)

Remuneration and benefits:

  1. Choice of different Sanlam adviser contracts
