Internal Audit Manager (Public sector) - 6 month contract - Johannesburg
If you are an experienced Internal Auditor, with experience in the public sector and open to a 6-month contract, hit APPLY Individual will be reporting into the Chief Audit Executive. Stakeholder liaison Execute internal audit engagements Responsible for the entire audit process All work delivered to be compliant to International standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing Risk management Offer recommendations Form part of the development of internal auditing policies and procedures Cost management Staff training Report drafting Prepare quarterly audits and risk reports Must have: Valid Matric Relevant degree - Internal Auditing No less than 3 years' experience in Internal Auditing, must have worked in the Public sector Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury regulations, BAS, DORA Professional membership - Institute of Internal Auditors Excellent English communication - written and verbal Born Leader Ethical Analytical Attention to detail Risk management Team player Stakeholder management Problem solver Numerical Self-starter Must have a clear credit record, clear criminal record and clear fraud Have contacts for reference checks purposes
