About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Internal IT Recruiter to join their team in South Africa. As an integral part of their internal recruitment team, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet their organisation's IT staffing needs.

Based in Cape Town CBD
Package: R 20,000 per month

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their IT staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals and agencies.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
  • Negotiate and extend job offers to successful candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.

Requirements:
  • HR Qualification preferred but not essential
  • 5 years experience in IT Recruitment
  • Proven experience as an IT Recruiter, preferably in an internal recruitment role.
  • Familiarity with IT roles and technologies, including software development, systems administration, cybersecurity, and project management.
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and attract passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
