Internal Sales Administrator – Chemical Manufact - Springs

Reference: PS010180-SH-1A well-known established international chemical group requires the above to provide commercial and operational support to the manufacturing and sales teams by coordinating, liaising and managing customers, handling all internal sales administration responsibilities for the company ensuring that customers' expectations are met at all times. Minimum requirements for the role: Previous experience having worked in an internal sales administrative role ideally within a manufacturing or distribution company is preferred. Previous experience having worked on SAP is essential for this role. The successful candidate must have attention to detail and be highly organised as well as be driven and able to take ownership. The successful candidate must have good Excel spreadsheet skills and capabilities. The successful candidate should be customer-orientated, passionate and dedicated to working with customers. Must be a team player and be able to work independently, but also in a team. The candidate should have good communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Providing commercial and operational support to the manufacturing and sales teams by coordinating, liaising and managing customers, handling all internal sales administrational responsibilities for the company ensuring that customers' expectations are met at all times. Receiving, processing and monitoring customer orders. Capturing sales orders and following up on deliveries. Keeping track of customer stock requirements. Liaising and assisting customers with orders, back-orders queries and following up, both by email and telephonically. Liaising with the operations and planning department to track client order completion. Liaising with customers and external sales representatives on a daily basis to update them on the progress of orders and to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled. Liaising with production planning and warehousing regarding any queries and costing on products related to stock holding. Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries.
