Take the next step in your career and apply today Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage 7-10 years' experience in internal sales. At least 5 years' experience in technical internal sales with experience in pumps, valves, motors, etc. Mining industry experience is an advantage. French knowledge is an advantage. Additional Requirements: Advanced sales and customer service skills. Ability to analyse consumer data to optimise sales efforts. Knowledge of trends and regulations within the industry/sector. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff members. Excellent leadership and coaching abilities. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Skilled in staff optimisation and team development. Budgeting, budget forecasting, and budget management. Strategic thinking. Responsibilities: Lead the team of internal sales representatives for the inquiries and quotations of products. This will be extended to external sales. Prepare purchase orders for approval by management. Ensure that the received products are fully compliant with specifications before they are shipped to the customer. Maintain good relationships with the current OEMs the company has signed representations for. Identify OEMs when visiting the DRC mines and industry that can be approached and added as partners either for the South African market), or for the DRC market. Coordinate the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information. Compile daily lists of leads and delegate them to the sales team. Assist the sales team with administrative duties, including scheduling client conferences and meetings. Regularly check the sales team’s inventory levels to ensure they have enough materials, like brochures, sales sheets, and presentation slides to properly demonstrate products and services to potential and existing customers. Respond to customer complaints and queries and give after-sales support when requested. Perform data entry duties concerning metrics, sales figures, and other key data. Assist with compiling and issuing quotes to customers and input various sales orders accurately, ensuring that each order is processed and delivered to customers on time. Expedite requests, rush orders, and altering sales orders and shipping information as required. Be actively involved in the sales of products and services, acquiring new customers, and maintaining contact and relationships with existing customers. Identify and register the company to new customers’ database, vendor approval, in South Africa and selected African countries as will be communicated by management.
