A Steel and Fencing company is currently seeking a talented internal salesperson to join their dynamic team. As a leading player in the steel sector, they offer a diverse range of high-quality steel and fencing products and solutions to their clients worldwide. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of products/services. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making. Familiarize yourself with different types of steel, their properties, uses, and manufacturing processes. This includes understanding steel grades, alloys, and production methods. Meet and exceed sales targets. Key accounts management. Sales planning. Prepare quotations. Processing of invoices Assist in tender processing. Answering incoming calls and converting enquiries into sales. Following up on leads. Costumers to be contacted monthly by the internal salesperson. Handling customers complaints and enquiries. REQUIREMENTS: 5 years' experience in a similar position Proven track record in sales, preferably in the steel industry or related field. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Pastel software and sales analytics tools is a plus. National Senior Certificate (math's as a subject) Knowledge of structural steel. Reliable transport Good communication skills Apply Now
