Keeping up to date with competitor offerings and pricing
Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
Answering incoming calls and e-mails to the business
Attending to customers questions
Quoting customers
Following up on important quotations
Capturing customer orders received
Actioning of customer orders received
Procurement of traded products for customer orders received
Liaising with production on the status and delivery dates for production orders
Monitoring and updating expected delivery dates of customer orders and updating customers
Arranging for delivery or collection of customer orders
Reporting on sales and profitability per customer and sales targets
Arranging of marketing materials within approved budgets
Education, skills & experience requiredN6 or higher diploma in industrial instrumentation or a related field
Excellent communication in both verbal and written format
Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Familiar with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Marketing qualifications or experience will be beneficial
Reporting structureInternal Sales reports to the General Manager
