Reference: JHB000353-TJ-2We are currently in search of a meticulous and seasoned Inventory Accountant to become a part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess a solid background in inventory accounting. The ideal candidate should be adept at financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including valuation, quantities, and locations Calculate and analyse costs associated with inventory Reconcile physical inventory counts with recorded quantities, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions Prepare inventory-related reports, such as stock status, turnover, and aging analysis, to support decision-making and inventory control Ensure compliance with inventory accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls to mitigate risks and safeguard assets Requirements: BCom Accounting degree Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite 0.00 - 0.01 - Monthly
