We're on the hunt for a Trust Interest Revenue Maximization Specialist to join our dynamic team at our top client in Pietermaritzburg. You will play a key role in ensuring adherence to client policies and procedures within the Investment and Trust Interest Department. Responsibilities Trust Interest Revenue Maximization (Section 86):Utilize management information systems to identify revenue opportunities.Track and monitor trust interest performance for each practice, analyzing monthly receipts and bank charges.Assist practitioners in addressing non-compliance with relevant sections.Maintain a database of value generated from interventions.Articulate and promote the benefits of trust interest maximization to practitioners.Market client activities to the legal profession and build sustainable relationships with stakeholders.Respond to trust account queries promptlyAutomated Monthly Transfer System (AMTS):Facilitate and monitor the migration of accounts within the region.Increase practitioner participation in the AMTS environment.Maintain a query tracking register for AMTS interventions.Consolidate and monitor key metrics of legal practitioners' accounts, reporting on trends. Unidentifiable/Unclaimed Trust Money:Assist practitioners in addressing non-compliance with section 87(4).Track the receipts of unclaimed trust monies.Analysing and reviewing the section 86(2), and 86(3), 86(4) monthly trust interest receipt and bank charges Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:Build complementary partnerships with legal practitioners, regional banks, and relevant stakeholders.Engage with top trust interest revenue contributors in the region.Act as a liaison between auditors, legal practitioners, and stakeholder organizations.Respond to queries related to trust accounts and demonstrate value created through interventions.
