The Senior Developer is responsible for identifying and/or researching new technologies and for the development of system/modules. The Developer should continuously find ways to optimize the system/s that they are responsible for. Key Performance Areas: Data is loaded on time and of good quality Assists in automating and streamlining processes Working with Development Lead, Senior’s and Development Manager to make sure that new technologies are identified and used (where possible) and client needs are met Keen eye for details and quality Good sense of urgency Make sure that the system is continuously evolving and is scalable Develop relationships with clients by delivering quality & value adding solutions Sharing thoughts and ideas with the other team members to make sure that the team is always abreast with current and new technologies Working with the respective business unit, production teams and team members (local/global) to ensure that we build and deliver solutions that are relevant to our client’s current and/or future needs Attributes Good mentoring skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Good time management skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines Proficiency with MS Development technologies relevant to the job function Ability to learn other software packages Ability to work independently Insightful Decision Making Innovative Creative Collaborative Quality orientated Self Starter Team Player Motivating Work Smart Self Management Opportunist Requirements Relevant degree/diploma/certification as a minimum 5 years industry experience in front-end and back-end development SQL 2005 and above – BIS (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) Database design SQL 2000 and use of DTS packages () C#, .NET Framework 3.5 and above, ADO.NET, ASP.NET XML WCF Web Services Javascript JQuery Dreamweaver () Adobe Photoshop CS5/CS6 () Fireworks () HTML/XHTML/HTML5 AJAX CSS Visual Studio 2010/2012 Joomla/PHP () Sharepoint, including developing of web parts () Classic ASP Mobile development – iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows SQL 2012 – Data Quality Services () MVC How to Apply Click on this link to apply online
