A company that provides staffing solutions for various industries and categories of staff, from food manufacturing to renewable energy is seeking an experienced IR Officer to join their team. Responsible for attending to conciliations. Advise, consult, and facilitate on IR structures and procedures for the day-to-day practical aspects of an IR function. Chairing, facilitating, and drafting of all documents relating to disciplinary inquiries, poor work performance matters. Facilitate and maintain a good working relationship with unions and union officials. Monitor internal labour relations trends and submit relevant reports. Handover of all relevant information and documentation in respect of all Labour Court matters, including reviews to Attorney's appointed to deal with such matters. Degree or a 3-year National Diploma in HR/IR/Law or related field Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as an IR Officer or similar role, responsible for IR matters Experience dealing with CCMA and Bargaining Council matters, specifically conciliations. In depth knowledge of the LRA, BCEA, CCMA and Bargaining Councils' Rules and relevant case law Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing ability. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport Experience facilitating various IR processes including but not limited to retrenchments, incapacities, CCMA arbitrations, inter alia will be advantageous. Experience in an IR consultancy role, specifically consulting to various clients from various industries advantageous.
