Job Overview: This key position will entail overseeing all operational activities within the IT Operations team, ensuring the seamless functioning and security of our IT Infrastructure, Systems and Applications. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Manage and lead the IT Infrastructure / Support staff, including recruitment, supervision, development, and performance evaluations. Ensure diligent management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure and systems by the IT Infrastructure/ Support team. Vendor and Service Provider Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with service providers and vendors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements. Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement IT Operations Plans to enhance operational efficiency. Assess current processes, identify areas for enhancement, and integrate best practices to streamline IT operations. Bolster network security, fortify the Service Desk, and refine IT systems. Disaster Recovery: Maintain and enhance the disaster recovery plan to safeguard the company's ability to recover from IT-related disruptions, ensuring business continuity and resilience. IT Infrastructure and Security Management: Direct the management of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, data centers, enterprise storage devices, virtual and cloud platforms. Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the IT infrastructure. Monitor network configurations and ensure accurate documentation of network diagrams, asset inventory, and configurations to facilitate seamless operations and swift troubleshooting. Implement and enforce security measures such as firewalls, encryption protocols, endpoint protection solutions, and intrusion detection systems. Incident and Problem Management: Oversee incident response and troubleshooting procedures during network outages or performance degradation. Ensure timely resolution of incidents and maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the process Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5 to 6 years of proven experience in an IT Operations Manager or similar role. Demonstrated expertise in managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence. Proven experience in managing and implementing information security systems and processes. Solid experience in managing infrastructure and support teams. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical problems. Strong focus on results, with a passion for client service. Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Skills: Broad technical knowledge of current trends in network, security, and cloud infrastructure. Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards. In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Strong understanding of project management principles. Ability to relate and network with a broad range of stakeholders. Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to navigate business challenges, initiate actions, and make decisions. Expertise in applying IT knowledge to improve IT operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in deciding and initiating action. Capability in leading and supervising teams. Expertise in applying technology and technical knowledge. Strong skills in analyzing information. Effective planning and organizing abilities.
