IT recruitment consultant - Cape Town City Centre

As an IT Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top-tier talent for our clients in the ever-evolving IT industry. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to meet our clients' unique needs, while building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement:
    • Understand and analyze client requirements to identify the best-fit candidates.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a deep understanding of their business and staffing needs.
  2. Candidate Sourcing and Assessment:
    • Utilize various sourcing methods, including online platforms, networking events, and referrals, to identify and attract high-caliber IT professionals.
    • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  3. Market Research:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights to both clients and candidates.
  4. Negotiation and Offer Management:
    • Facilitate the negotiation process between clients and candidates, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.
    • Manage the offer process, including presenting offers, handling counteroffers, and closing successful placements.
  5. Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates to foster long-term partnerships.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
As a recruitment consultant you will be expected to:
  • Understand and keep up to trends with the latest developments in the IT niche market.
  • Grow your client base (cold calling)
  • Grow your candidate base (adverts and marketing yourself as a top recruiter)
  • Meet and exceed set targets.
  • Full 360 recruitment cycle. (External recruitment)
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
