IT Support Assistant - - Centurion

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and guidance to resolve user's computer hardware and software problems.
Communicate with users via phone, chat, email, and support ticketing system to assess and understand the scope of the problem.
Assist with the installation and setup of new hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
Coordinate service or replacement of defective products from vendors and manufacturers.
Stay updated on technical innovations and best practices, making recommendations for new software and hardware solutions.
Train local users to handle common problems and minor issues.
Maintain accurate records of support services provided in the ticketing system or database.
Develop training materials and conduct onsite training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

High school graduate with training in computer user support and operations.
Previous experience in user support within a multi-operation IT systems environment.
Proficiency in computer systems and customer service within a technological environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
