IT SYSTEMS MANAGER (FinTech) - South Africa
Taking responsibility for the daily operational effectiveness and ensuring that all the Business-Critical Systems are Operational and available to the end-users. Connectivity to banks and client systems are operational Security on Mobile and Endpoint Devices are up to date Configuring and assisting with Treasury Management System implementations Ensuring that the server environment is available Providing access to both internal and external network resources Providing awareness in Cyber Security and provide training to team members Compiling IT Policies in line with Company requirements Ensuring that User Access Control is strictly controlled and privileged access limited Providing Technical assistance on Finance and Payroll software Troubleshooting escalated workstation issues Knowledge Required ? Azure Cloud environments ? Enterprise Server environments ? API Security and Connectivity ? Knowledge of IT Controls such as ISO27001 ? Google Workspace Enterprise or Microsoft 365 environments ? SFTP ? Endpoint and Mobile Device Management ? Email security Skills Required ? Managed File Transfer (MFT) Systems ? Knowledge of API Gateways and security ? Proficient with Google Workspace Environment or Microsoft 365 ? VoIP, WAN, Wi-Fi and LAN networking experience ? Networking Protocols; FTP, SFTP, DNS and RDP ? Setting up Windows Server environments including Active Directory, SQL Server, Internet Information Services, and VDI Solutions ? Authentication & Authorisation standards such as SAML, MFA, and Privileged Access Management. ? Cloud Environments such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud ? Cyber Security and understanding the “Human Firewall” ? Email Security Systems ? Network Firewalls ? Endpoint Security Software ? Mobile Device Management ? IT Controls such as ISO27001 ? SOC 1 / 2 ? Hardware and Software Troubleshooting Qualifications & Experience ? Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Relevant Industry Certification ? 5 years Experience in Enterprise ICT Environments ? General IT Management skills (both hardware and software) ? Experience in Treasury Management Systems / Financial Systems / ERP implementation
