An exciting future awaits Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo BELIMITLESS Job Description Scope of Position: Reporting to the Director of IT, the successful candidate needs to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets. This includes configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing hardware, software, communication links and other electronic infrastructure. To provide client support services in respect of general user and computer support. Responsibility - To assist authorized users in relation to operation of the hotel's IT system hardware, various modules and supporting personal computers. - Day to day running of IT support from a desktop user perspective - assisting users with and problems being experienced. - Setup and roll out of new hardware. - Logging and tracking of support calls for all Accor systems on the Welcome Now platform. - Accurate administration of the Code of Ethics and the creation of users on various platforms. Ensure that completed forms are sent to Human Resources for filing on employee records. - Placing of IT related purchase requisitions/orders on Materials Control. - Manage the day-to-day operations of IT including downtime, reporting service levels and provide status to management. - Supporting business projects. - Assist in the compliance of the Hotel with Accor IT Security Policy and General Data Protection. - To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel. - To provide a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following ACCOR Standards of Performance. - To ensure that preventive maintenance required by any IT equipment in the hotel is carried out appropriately. - To coordinate the timely repair and return to service of any faulty systems or items of equipment. - To coordinate the investigation and timely handling of any software fault reports or enhancement requests. - Ensure that system backups are successful daily. - Perform other job duties as and when requested. Qualifications Qualifications: - An IT diploma/degree will be highly advantageous. - Experience in the hospitality and tourism industry will be preferred. - At least 4 years in a similar position. - Fully computer literate in the Microsoft Office, SharePoint and OneDrive. - Experience in / exposure to the following: - Windows Server Platforms - Virtual Server Environment - Active Directory Services - Microsoft Windows (10 & 11) - Mobile Devices - Opera Cloud Property Management System - Symphony POS - Materials Control Stock Management System - HP Server Hardware - Forcepoint Firewall - Understanding of multiple VLAN configurations on a converged network - Barracuda Backup - Proven abilities in: - Fluency in English, written and verbal communication with people on all levels. - Good listening skills. - Ability to use own initiative, adaptable and self-motivating. - Calm under pressure, and able to prioritize workflows.
