Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Ensuring electrical safety standards are met. Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. Server support and maintenance (both online and offline). Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers. Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level. Implementation and maintenance of firewalls. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware. Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. Conducting daily backup operations. Managing technical documentation. Setting up and maintaining of printers. IT-related qualification A, N, MCSE certification Basic knowledge of server 2008, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS Network printer knowledge Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and day-to-day software 5-8 Years’ experience in a similar role with evidence of work in environment with more than 20 machines Fluent in Afrikaans & English Between 5 - 7 Years
