JNR IoT Hardware Support Technician There is an opportunity available in the Building Environment and Construction fields, working with a team of engineers that specialize in Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, control system engineering services, and Building Management hardware. They are looking for a young person who is a creative thinker and a pragmatic problem solver, who is disciplined enough to assess and analyse priorities, schedule them appropriately, and choose the best solutions. The ideal applicant will have a strong interest and grasp of electronics (components and assembly) as well as the Internet of Things. They will be responsible for constructing, testing, installing, and maintaining hardware and control systems. Minimum Requirements: Valid driver’s licence and a vehicle (The company's office is situated in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria, and the applicant will also be required to travel to construction sites based in Johannesburg and Pretoria when needed.) High School (matric) Technical competencies Understanding in developing back-end and communication services Beneficial requirements: Linux environment experience Software development experience
