VACANCY:CIVIL ENGINEER/ TECHNOLOGIST ORCIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIANTMS CONSULTING ENGINEERS CAPE (PTY) LTDPosition Purpose:To provide a professional civil engineering service, analyse problems, generate solutions, draft plansand execute projects while adhering to health, safety, environmental and quality requirements andensuring that the clients’ needs are satisfied in a cost-effective way.Position Outputs:1. Compile technical specifications for projects.2. Concept to detailed design of civil infrastructure (roads, sewer, stormwater, etc) andstructures.3. Draft technical drawings for projects.4. Site supervision to ensure compliance by contractors.5. Compile reports, presentations and other technical documents required for a project.6. Price projects for tender purposes.7. Civil Engineer/Technologist: BSc or BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering with minimum of 5 years’experience in civil design and construction2. Civil Technician: NDip in Civil Engineering with a minimum 8 years experience in civil designand construction3. Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous4.
