Joint Aid Management (JAM) is a South African founded humanitarian nonprofit organisation that works to empower Africans to create better lives for themselves. Job Title: Videographer Job Location: Johannesburg The Videographer will be part of the team who shoot footage and does editing. The videographer will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production. He/she will transport, set up, and operate equipment; and assist with staging and set preparation in the studio or in the field. The videographer will work closely with the Video Production Manager to execute from concept through to completion. Keep footage library in order. Responsibilities: Shoot, audio and edit JAM’s photo and video libraries including images and affiliate’s video material for promotion and TV Videographer works in the JAM video production studio, in remote locations, and is part of the post-production team editing and preparing hard and soft copies of videos, and other video and multi-media productions, working with JAM events and documentaries Assist the video production manager where needed Determine what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment Maintain all equipment in good working order at all times and stored in safe, clean environment Transports, sets up, and operates production equipment including cameras, audio, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production High standard of operating and maintaining on cameras, audio and other production equipment Populate and maintain video and photo libraries Supports the team throughout the production process, which may include finding interview subjects, creating graphics, and presenting to donors and affiliates Helps to sustain and guide creative process Assist in maintaining material for web and multi-media to document the JAM’s progress Up to date with new trendy editing and shooting techniques and teaching other editors Requirements: English is essential Creative ability Organisational skills Editing skills Fast and willing learner Multi-tasking Working with Apple Mac Editing with Adobe Premier Speaking other languages Valid Passport Matric exemption Computer Literacy Diploma in Video preferred Minimum of five years of working in film industry All studio equipment Safe Keys Office Keys Alarm code Resource Requirement Technical Resources Internet Access Internal and External e-mail To apply, submit your CV and attach your portfolio to Fiona [email protected] Application Deadline: 10th August, 2018 Apply Now
