OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting tasks and gain valuable experience in handling financial matters for our international clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bookkeeping and Data Entry:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for overseas-based clients.
Perform data entry tasks, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial transactions.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Address any issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.

Assistance in Financial Reporting:

Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for overseas clients.
Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with international accounting standards.

Client Communication:

Liaise with clients to obtain necessary financial information and address inquiries.
Provide exceptional customer service to build and maintain positive client relationships.

Adherence to Regulations:

Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

Assist in Auditing Processes:

Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Accounting
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be advantageous
Solid knowledge of IFRS, Financial Management, Accounting principles and Cost Accounting
