Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Junior Accountant for a client based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional to gain valuable experience and grow their career in finance. Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Administer payroll and ensure accuracy of employee records Prepare and maintain financial records and reports Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies Support the financial analysis and budgeting processes Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed Requirements Relevant 3 year Bachelors degree qualification in Financial Accounting (General Accounting). 3-5 years proven work experience in an accounting/administrative role. Advanced level of competency in MS Excel software application. Intermediate level of competency in MS Office email and word applications. Exposure to Sage Pastel Partner Accounting software application would be an advantage. Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise important tasks. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work as part of a high-performance team.
