REPORTING LINE: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT We are looking for a skilled person for the management of the functions and responsibilities of Creditors and Supply Chain payments. Processing Creditor Invoices Responsible to ensure all documents are coded, authorized and captured. Analysis and processing of invoices, purchase orders, debit and credit notes and journals. Management of the Goods received notes for correctness and authorization. Preparing and processing of payments timely and accurately. Allocation of payments to supplier accounts including remittances to suppliers. Resolution of payment issues and account queries with suppliers. Responsible for processing Forex payments to import suppliers. Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger and creditor accounts. Reconcililation of work processed to verify entries into system for reporting. Supervision of Creditor's administrators. Analysis and payment of Employee expense reports. Responsible for disbursement of petty cash. Management of company credit card payments. Assistance with the BBBEE audit documents for Preferential Procurement element. Responsible to ensure all filing is accurate and up to date. Bookkeeping, Creditor Management or Financial Management qualification required. 5 - 10 Years proven experience in Creditors and financial accounting. Computer literacy in Microsoft office Experience with SAGE/Pastel/Accpack accounting software. Experience in working within an ERP system would be advantageous. Competent in numerical and analytical skills. Results driven in meeting deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. Proven experience in organizational and problem solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy is non-negotiable requirement. Ability to manage creditor administrators and be a team player. Responsible for mentoring and coaching junior employees and interns. Willingness to work late as and when necessary. Drive and ambition to succeed. Salary is negotiable based on experience. R25 000
