A large serviced accommodation and rental business based in Strand, Western Cape is seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant on a permanent basis. The main objective of the position will be to assist the Financial Manager with financial activities through financial analysis, reporting, and other financial tasks. Degree in Accounting and/or any other relevant qualification At least three years of relevant experience Solid experience with Financial systems (Xero is recommended) Proven record of financial analysis and reporting Knowledge of internal audit Proficient in using Microsoft Office software and the ability to quickly learn accounting systems Proven track record of working under pressure and ability to function independently Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Finance Administration Fixed Asset Register Management Bank Reconciliations Financial analyses and reporting Ad-hoc projects/queries/investigations Support to Financial Manager Salary – R18,000 to R23,000 / month, negotiable, dependant on skills and experience Benefits – Medical aid contributions, light breakfast, and lunch every day.
