Junior Claims Handler IntroductionAn underwriting management company situated in Centurion is seeking to employ an organised and sufficient Junior Claims Handler with 1-2 years of experience to join their dynamic team. Job PurposeJunior Claims Handlers, will play a vital role in the administration of domestic and commercial motor and non-motor claims, ensuring timely and efficient processing under the guidance of management. REQUIREMENTSMinimum education (essential):National Senior Certificate. Minimum Education (desirable):Relevant FAIS (150 Credits).RE5 (will be advantageous). Minimum applicable experience (years):1-2 years administrative experience. Required nature of experience:Customer relations.Previous experience in the insurance industry (Advantageous) Skills and Knowledge (essential):Computer Literacy – MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook. Other:Bilingual in Afrikaans and EnglishReliable Transport KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS, WEIGHTS, AND OBJECTIVESCustomer Relations Liaise with brokers and suppliers.Communicate with brokers telephonically and by email (relating to claim progress)Assist brokers with general and claims related queries. AdministrationAdministrate domestic and commercial, motor, and non-motor claims.Manage and settle claims timeously.Manage the allocation of claim reserves / outstandings.Assist with administrative functions and projects on the request of management.Maintain the electronic claims filing system (including the renaming of documents).Request and/or check claim payments according to a mandate.
