Reference: 9321 NB Consultant: Nine Broodryk Job Description: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by inputting and categorising transactions. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. Prepare basic financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Support senior bookkeepers or accountants with ad hoc tasks as needed. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures. Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance. Qualifications: Bookkeeping Qualification Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Prior internship or work experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
