Reference: JHB001587-DDT -5 Our client, a dynamic coffee wholesaler and retail company is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess bookkeeping skills up to trial balance and an excellent understanding of Pastel, ideally Pastel Evolution. Proficiency in mathematics as a school subject is an essential requirement, as well as being a non-smoker. Minimum requirement Bookkeeping certificate. Mathematics (above 60%) as a subject in school is non-negotiable. Maths Literacy is acceptable with a 75% mark minimum. Min of 3-5 years bookkeeping experience up to trail balance. Must have experience and knowledge of Pastel. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Must be fully bilingual. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Attention to detail and accuracy. Responsibilities Reconciling bank statements and cashbook entries. Maintaining debtors and creditors ledger accounts. Reconciliations of debtors and creditors accounts. Preparing and processing invoices and payments. Recording financial transactions and maintaining the general ledger. Balancing accounts and preparing trial balances. R 13 000 - R 17 000 - Monthly
