Reference: CAW005072-LH2-3Junior Bookkeeper (To trial balance) - Lanseria - Johannesburg North Our Client who specializes in customized electrical furniture, delivering electrical and data services directly to their clients' desks is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper. Location: Lanseria.Salary Bracket: R16,000 – R18,000 (dependent on experience and skill set) with review after 3 months.Starting Date: ASAPGeneral Requirements: Must have own transport (not negotiable) Non-smoker (not negotiable) Reside in Johannesburg North or West Rand areas Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Accounting (not negotiable) Experience: Proficiency in Xero Online Accounts platform is required (not negotiable) Knowledge of SharePoint preferred; training will be provided if necessary Competent in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook Duties will include: Managing wage payroll Handling PAYE and IRP5 submissions Annual submissions for WCA Processing client cashbooks and conducting bank reconciliations Maintaining accurate financial transaction records Updating and managing the general ledger Reconciling entries in the accounting system Maintaining trial balance through reconciliation of cashbooks and general ledgers Calculating and submitting VAT General bookkeeping up to Trial Balance for clients Preparing VAT reconciliations Additional Skills: Excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients Organizational and teamwork abilities Integrity Flexibility to adapt to various working styles High level of accuracy in work Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
