Junior Business Analyst - Kempton Park

The Business Analyst will form part of the continuous improvement team based at the clients site. The aim of the role is to provide the client with the relevant reports, information, and decision support to assist in operations, cost saving initiatives and identify, test and implement cost saving initiatives. Reporting: Building, standardising, updating and where possible automating weekly and monthly reports. Verification and consolidation of reporting. Communicating and presenting on reports. Projects: Identifying areas for improvement. Managing projects to delivery. General: Interaction with team members, operational and contact centre personnel. Ad hoc analysis, queries and business support Tasks could include the following (project / responsibility dependent): Data analysis Master data management Process mapping Simulation modelling What-if transport modelling Value at stake / business case determination Project planning and execution Presentation construction BEng Industrial / BCom Supply Chain Management or related fields 2-3 years experience as an analyst preferably in Supply Chain or Logistic fields. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI. Project management experience. SQL experience advantages. Nature of position: Permanent Willing to work extended hours during peak projects and peak seasons Personal and workplace competencies: Plan, manage and be responsible for own time management . Problem solving Teamwork Promoting process improvement Self-motivated and proactive Written and verbal communication Possess a high attention to detail Concerned with maintaining standards of accuracy and quality Takes responsibility and accountability for own work and performance Comfortable working under pressure and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Good leadership skills in order to obtain appropriate information and to arrange and co-ordinate small projects Concerned with maintaining standards of accuracy and quality Shows and instils enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results
