Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Randburg Type of Employment: Full-Time Salary: R17 000.00 Key Responsibilities: Use computer-aided design software to create 3D and 2D technical drawings based on estimator’s sketch / BOQ Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project Calculate dimensions and material requirements Outline the construction process of the project on the technical drawings Liaising with estimators on queries and design. Risk assessments. Help to calculate mast heights for complicated industrial installations where necessary Overseeing maintenance and consumables relating to the plotter and CAD system. Any printing of CAD drawings issued by anyone in the company. Convert CAD drawings to PDF when necessary. Confirm in files that drawings are allowed for, and if so, request CAD drawings from client. You are to perform any function required of you, provided you are physically capable of performing that task/ function and it is not in contravention of any law or safety act. Requirements: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Strong attention to detail and precision in technical drawings. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards. Knowledge of industrial installations and construction processes is a plus. Physically capable of performing required tasks.
