A vacancy exists for a Junior Draughtsman within the construction industry. 1. Design and detailing of slab formwork; 2. Design and detailing of access scaffolding; 3. Design and detailing of shuttering; 4. Do material count from designs; 5. Ensure compliance with client specifications, internal company standards, and other regulatory requirements; 6. Develop 2D Formwork drawings; 7. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and standards; and 6. Liaison with various clients Qualifications: The successful candidate must have Grade 12, with Mathematics (non-negotiable). Skills: The candidate must be skilled in using AutoCAD (2D); Revit and Inventor will be advantageous; Proficiency in MS Office products; Familiarity with Formwork and steel manufacturing processes; Ability to read and interpret design drawings; Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets; and Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure is essential Experience: Minimum 3 Years' related design experience; Exposure to a manufacturing environment (advantageous); CAD software experience essential; and Mechanical engineering design skills advantageous R25 000 per month ctc., negotiable
