As a Motor Control Center Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our MCC products. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing motor control systems to meet the specific needs of our clients across various industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a significant impact in the field of industrial automation.Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer Motor Control Centers (MCC) according to project specifications and industry standards. Develop detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for MCC assemblies. Select appropriate components, such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and PLCs, based on project requirements. Perform electrical calculations, including voltage drop, short circuit analysis, and load analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and project management, to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct testing and validation of MCC designs to verify performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Provide technical support to customers and resolve any design-related issues during the implementation phase. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in MCC design processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in designing Motor Control Centers or related electrical systems for industrial applications. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for electrical design and drafting. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, motor control, and protection devices. Familiarity with industry standards such as NEC, IEC, and UL. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
