Our client, a leading company in the (FMCG) industry, is searching for a dedicated and organized Junior Financial Assistant to join their team in Irene Data Entry: Enter financial data accurately and efficiently into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Update and maintain financial spreadsheets. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions. Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports (e.g., income statements, balance sheets). Compile and analyze financial data. Assist with month-end closing procedures. Other Duties: Answer phones and emails in a professional manner. Provide basic administrative support to the finance team. Learn and perform other tasks as assigned. 3. Essential Qualifications Education: Minimum of a Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance (desirable). Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in a financial or bookkeeping role (e.g., internship, volunteer work). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
