Junior HRBP - Cape Town Region

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, gaining valuable insights into design, production, manufacturing, and operations while contributing to the success of our HR function. Key Responsibilities: Organizational Design: Assist in designing and maintaining effective organizational structures. Collaborate with key stakeholders to update job descriptions. Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and processes. Selection and Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process from sign-off to onboarding. Develop job descriptions and ensure vacancies align with budget and position requirements. Ensure compliance with data management and POPI regulations. Manage financial costs related to checks and align recruitment activities with employment equity plans. Industrial Relations/Employee Relations: Address employee grievances and provide necessary support. Provide guidance and representation in warning and disciplinary processes. Ensure compliance with the Labour Relations Act (LRA). Performance Management: Support managers in handling disciplinary and misconduct issues. Oversee probation management and champion KPI conversations. Collaborate with the Training Manager to ensure staff development and competency. Manage onboarding and probation periods effectively. Employee Wellness: Promote employee wellness initiatives. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement wellness programs. Employment Equity: Manage employment equity reporting and plans. Ensure compliance with relevant employment equity regulations. Other: Administer Payroll as required. Contribute to adhoc projects. Overseas salary benchmarking and sectoral compliance. Assist with adherence to compliance requirements as determined by legislation. Assist with HR reporting as required. Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources. Full understanding of HR functions and best practices. Sound knowledge of Employee Relations. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or experience in Human Resources with a graduate qualification in business/law/human sciences. Labor Relations certification may be advantageous.
