Responsibilities include:
- Process Documentation:
- Documenting the entire process flow of product development, manufacturing, and distribution within the OEM company.
- Creating detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for various departments and functions.
- Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyzing current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Proposing and implementing solutions to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Conducting time and motion studies to optimize resource allocation and minimize cycle times.
- Quality Control and Assurance:
- Collaborating with quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitoring and analyzing product quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Assisting in the management of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Optimizing inventory levels and lead times to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all aspects of operations.
- Participating in safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and logistics, to achieve organizational goals.
- Supporting and contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process mapping software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
