Junior Industrial Engineer - - Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Assist in the design and implementation of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Conduct time and motion studies to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address production issues.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to industrial engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards professional development.
Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
