This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Industrial Engineer in Centurion. The Junior Industrial Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with industrial engineering, including process improvement, communication, and manufacturing engineering. MUST HAVE FOR THE POSITION: Industrial Engineering qualification Minimum 2 years experience in the manufacturing sector Must be able to conduct time and motion studies to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. AutoCAD experience to aid in the design and layout of production facilities and workstations. Must be proficient in MS Office especially Excel for preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management Working knowledge of Lean, Kaizen & A3 problem-solving tools to streamline processes and reduce waste Conduct Root Cause Analysis to resolve production and quality problems High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and articulate issues clearly Main Responsibilities but not limited to: Line and process optimization through time & motion studies Maintenance of all CAD drawings Master data integrity – Ensuring all standards on SAP and Shopware are aligned Compiling production reports Custodian of the Shopware system. Always Ensuring functionality and addressing any issues Kaizen, Lean, Cost Optimization & reduction projects Qualifications Industrial Engineering Diploma / Degree Skills Autocad Analytical Skills Excellent written and verbal Communication skills Experience in Process Improvement Time & Motion studies Proficient in MS Office especially Excel & PowerPoint Experience: Manufacturing: or Production 2 years (Required) AutoCAD: 2 years (Required) Amka Products (PTY) Ltd is an FMCG Business founded in Pretoria in the 1950's.
